Hvac Project Summary
- Installation of hvac systems for gymnasium, pool, common area, golf simulator, theatre room and dining for a lifestyle community hub.
Skills and equipment
- The organisation of equipment and when it could be craned onto the different roofs. Due to this being a staged job and areas would get finished before other areas started meant the tradesmen on site had to complete multiple test on the pipewok. Insulpak installed multiple A/C units with fresh air to all of them, a pool ERV and an extraction hood in the BBQ area.
Challenges of the hvac installation
- As mentioned above the job was staged into areas and some would be completed before others started. We have to make sure all pipes were install and tested multiple times as we could not access some of them again. The ducting over the pool area was stainless and large which meant some planning on lifting into place had to be done. Insulpak worked in with the builder to make sure this was completed safely and to a timely manner. The common areas of the job consisted of long linear grilles which all need to line up without noticing the joins in them.
